Vacation Bible School
Each summer, Grace Bible Baptist Church puts on Vacation Bible School (VBS) with a different theme as an outreach to children ages 5-12 of the neighborhood and area churches. This year, our theme was Ancient Olympics. The children learned how Adam, Noah, Joseph and Paul ran their races in their relationships with God and they were encouraged to "go for the gold". Activities included Bible lessons, crafts, games, time in the bounce houses and snacks with lots of singing and good-natured rivalry between 2 teams. There was a chance for the children to compete to win medals and prizes and to support a missionary and his work.
